540 Rounds of 5.56×45 Ammo by Old Army – 55gr FMJ M193

Details “Old Army” means this is old Army ammunition … right? WRONG. In this case, at least. Old Army is a 100% service-connected disabled, veteran-owned business in Spokane, WA. Old Army imported this 5.56×45 M193 ammo from Macedonia, where it was recently manufactured by ATS Ammunition. ATS Ammunition doesn’t do anything odd when they load 5.56 M193. They could have cut costs by using brass-plated steel cases, but they don’t. They could have cut costs by loading Berdan primers, but they don’t. (This ammo is noncorrosive.) They also could have cut costs by putting steel in their full metal jacket bullets. But they don’t, which is why you can fire these rounds at any range you darn well please. Just what is M193, anyways? Nothing particularly special, which is not to say these rounds’ 55 grain FMJs won’t treat you to the feeding, recoil and ballistic performance you expect while you’re landing sweet shots with your AR.
